Upgrading the French hospital for mother and children in Kabul ofChaine de Espoire, Paris (Link.).Additional capacities for the hospital were planned and implemented, in order to prevent more children in Afghanistan from dying of diseases, which could be treated easily with modern equipment and pharmaceuticals.
The project was organized by EPOS Health Management, Bad Homburg, Germany, and financed by Agence de France de Development (AFD, Paris).
