Case studies regarding cost and quality in 20 hospitals in Abu Dhabi. Among those hospitals were Canadian hospital, Al Zahra Hospital, NeuroSpinal Hospital, American Hospital, CosmeSurge, Magrabi Eye Hospital, and others.
Based on the results of the calculations, the prices for the inpatient and outpatient hospital services in Dubai were negotiated. Furthermore, staff need calculation were performed and quality indicators for hospital services were developed “Pay-for-Performance”.
The project was organized and financed by Daman Health, the National Health Insurance of Abu Dhabi.
