Feasibility studies for the implementation of three Regional Emergency Hospitals with approximate 800 beds each. Analysis of the current situation of the services, capacities and efficiency in the three regions in the context of the demands of the population and existing healthcare infrastructure. This included demand and option analysis based on DRG and other available documents, determination of the demand of beds based on European standards, staff planning, cost estimation, and costs- benefit analysis. The following three hospitals were analysed: Regional Emergency hospital Iasi, Regional Emergency hospital Craiova, Regional Emergency hospital Clui.
The project was organized by PLANET, Athens, Greece / Conseil Sante, Clichy, France, and financed by the European Investment Bank (EIB), Luxembourg.
