Switzerland
We supported the development of Medical Pathways for the Kantonspital Aarau in Switzerland. We managed the designing of medical pathways for selected indications in order to improve quality and transparency. The project led to optimize the introduction of the DRG system. After implementation it was possible for the hospital to increase quality of medical services and decrease costs by reducing average lengths of staying.
The project was organized by KPMG Berlin, Germany, and the Kantonspital Aarau.
