Project for improving the emergency system in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The study contained the analysis of the current emergency system, development of recommendations for the optimizing of management structures, the financing systems, human resource planning and financing, and IT-solutions.Within the project, the following hospitals were analysed: RSEMC Tashkent, Tashkent region emergency hospital, Andijan emergency hospital, Bukhara emergency hospital, Djizak emergency hospital, Kashkadarya emergency hospital, Namangan emergency hospital, Samarkand emergency hospital, and Fergana emergencyhospital. The project was organized by the Ministry of Health, Tashkent, and financed by the World Bank.
Optimizing of the laboratory system of the province of Fergana. Within the study, an assessment of the laboratories of the public hospitals in the province of Fergana was provided. As a result of the assessment, an concept for a centralized laboratory system was developed, which took into account modern laboratory technology, as well as up-to-date IT- and logistic solutions. The project was organized by the Ministry of Health, Tashkent, and financed by the World Bank.
